$29,500 Awarded for Set of Injections

Judd Shaw Injury Law™ sought payment for PIP medical benefits on behalf of a pain management physician and related ancillary anesthesia services. The insurance carrier denied payment for surgery based on the allegation the services were not medically necessary. The matters involved a series of cervical epidural injections. After considering the arguments made by both parties, the arbitrator concluded that claimant proved, by a preponderance of the evidence, the clinically supported symptoms, diagnosis and neurological indications supported the treatment at issue.
